What Is The Best MP3 Player On The Market Today?

There are many choices when you go shopping for a new MP3 player. Determining what is the best MP3 player available is tough because of this. It can be very difficult to single out one player and say that it is the best MP3 player, but if you break it down and look at different players in different categories it can be much easier to do. The question then becomes how do you break down each of the different players to determine which is the best MP3 player. Any best MP3 player download should include what category the player fits into.

Categories For The Best MP3 Player

The first thing you want to do is take a look at storage. The capacity of the player will make a huge difference not only in cost but in size as well. Pretty much I would not look at any player that has under a gigabyte of storage, so that should probably be the first category. After that, the next major jump is probably up to around 4gig. A 4gig player is a good typical size and can hold many CDs and hundreds of songs. The next size jump is probably going to be around 16gig or so and it is pretty easy to lump 8 and 16 together when looking at players. Once you get above 16 gigs you are talking about some of the much more massive and large MP3 players. Some of these can store as much 120 gig and usually will have a much more rich feature set then simple dedicated MP3 players. The big jump up then is probably going to be the 32gig and up group, although there have been some 32gig players that are actually not really in the class of the bigger hard disk large capacity multi media devices. So now at least you have a basic grouping to determine the best MP3 player in each category.

The next thing you have to look at is cost. There are some very affordable MP3 players out there and you can players in the 1gig category for under thirty dollars or so. In the 4gig category the prices can vary pretty widely, but anything over one hundred dollars in this group probably should not be consider as a best MP3 player. Once you get into 16 gigs now you are talking about players that can be upwards to two hundred dollars or sometimes even more. Typically these players will have many more features then the lower sized and priced players and should be about the same size. Once you start looking at the large players now you are talking about full multi media devices that can cost upwards of $500 and more. In this category you pay a lot, but you get an amazing amount of features.

As you can see determining the best MP3 player requires that you take the time to break down where the MP3 player you are looking fits.
